Je fatiguée (French for i'm tired)
Day 1: Tokyo
bx and I landed in Tokyo at around 8am. We then took the densha to Ikebukuro to meet wp, who was already in Tokyo for summer exchange. After leaving our luggage at the hotel, we had shabu shabu for lunch at Shinjuku (the first of many hotpots to come *gags a little*). I was excited. Teen hangout leh! Muahahaha
After lunch, we met wp's friend from the exchange, a girl called Kitty. As it was Kitty's last day in Tokyo, we headed to places that she wanted to visit - Takashimaya Times Square and the 109 building, both in Shinjuku. Sidenote: Takashimaya Times Square is one mega monster of a shopping mall.
At Takashimaya, we tried the chocolate cream puff from the basement.
The puff oozes chocolate cream when you bite into it. yum-my
The puffs are in my hands!
At the 109 building, we browsed the shops but didn't buy much. We went back to the hotel at 4pm, checked in and agreed to get some rest before meeting later at 8pm.
I overslept and woke up only after 9 feeling hungry :( at which I called both bx and wp but they were already out of their rooms. I went downstairs, thinking that they might be using the Internet in the lobby (wp mentioned it earlier) but they weren't there. Thinking that they had probably gone somewhere for dinner, i went back to my room and caught a variety programme on the tiny and staticky tv. At 10 plus, i heard the 2 of them returning to their rooms (we stayed in single rooms) so i went out of my room and asked them where they'd been.
Oh crap, they've been in the other building all the while, tucking into junk food from the convenience store and watching the same variety show I did on a large TV screen over there!
